VAULT STORAGE OF MAGNETIC TAPES AND NEGOTIABLE DOCUMENTS
DOCSOLUTIONS stores and protects information in vaults providing exceptional conditions of security and integrity, operated under international standards for the control of temperature and humidity and physical security, assuring our clients high quality service.
Components and systems:
Structure:
- Steel and concrete structural vault with basaltic aggregates that resist flames for at least 3 to 4 hours without producing toxic gases or explosives.
- Protection of contents against magnetic fields and radio frequencies by the use of the Faraday Cage and the earth ground system.
Single Access:
- Fire resistant metal security door and frame with an electronically sealed hatch-type lock.
- An alarm that sounds if the door remains open more than 10 seconds.

Electrical System:
- Lighting system using hermetically sealed lights with fire-resistant wiring and cables.
- Automatic lighting control using an ultrasound and infrared device to assure automatic shutoff and a control panel to supply energy to all electrical systems.
Closed circuit television:
- Automatically controlled air conditioning system that keeps temperatures inside the vault at no more than 73°F and humidity no more than 50%, and keeps the files in the secure zone at approximately 66°F and humidity at 40%.
- User screen to check and control temperature and humidity.
Closed circuit television:
- Anti-vandalism infrared camera (0 Lux night vision), hermetically sealed, with fire resistant wiring and cables.
- Local visual monitoring in the area under control and remote visualization on the LAN, WAN and Internet networks.
- Recording in DVR on hard disk and backup in the same form.
Anti-intruder system:
- Passive infrared motion detector and magnetic contact for opening and closing of the door; monitoring of opening and closing of the area at the control panel.
- Centralized alarm system and external security 24 hours a day.
Controlled access system:
- Biometric hand reader to authorize entry and release the door’s electronic lock.
- Cross-check of the biometric system with a personal password.
- Automated recognition of internal users upon exit.
- Automatic release in case of emergency or evacuation.
Fire detection system:
- Low-profile photoelectric monitoring and detection for fire in the storage area.
- Monitoring at the control panel.
- Centralized alarm system and 24-hour external monitoring.
Firefighting system:
- Automatic fire extinguisher system using the agent FE-25 (Escaro25) under environmental norms for fire suppression.

All materials and equipment comply with the standards governing imaging materials set by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) as well as with the parameters of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators, Inc. (ARMA International) and ISO 18923:2000.
